SPECIAL STUFF

Thank you for all your Thoughts and Payers for Jenny.
She is doing great and plans to return to work soon.
We just wanted to show you Taylor's
wonderful Elsa.
She is not only beautiful, but a loving part of our family.

Why is this picture of Jaden here?
I don't know, except he is so dog-gone cute!!!!

Linda is from Denmark and has been riding Dandy
for over a year. She keeps him fit and trained for us.

Cochise's friend Lisa had to return home to Germany.
Lisa could never be replaced, but Marie is now here
and also from Germany and is starting to ride Cochise.
Thanks to Lisa it has been a pleasent experience for both
Marie and Cochise.

Like Lisa and Linda, Marie has to start from the
ground up.

BOB & DIANNE CAME FOR A VISIT

Bob, finally, retired and we were so excited to
have them visit us. After 53 years of friendship
we are looking for more and more fun times together.
This little guy was visiting the gold mine the same
day we were there. Turns out the next week
Nicolette's class did a field trip here also and
the owner, Al, was her tour guide too.
Shows you how much Bob trusts me.
However, we didn't find gold this time.

This was vein of gold in the mine.
It was really cool.

Ain't love grand! We had a great lunch at
Arrowhead Golf Club.

Friends for ever, like LaVerne and Shirley.

Bob, Greta and I are off in the golf cart
searching for snakes.

Ahhh, we found one.
I shoot at it and it strikes back at each pellet shot.
Finally Bob takes the shovel and
cuts it into a hundred pieces!!!
Opps, we hope this is a Rattle Snake. We try not to
harm the "good" snakes.

This is our favorite time of year.
We saw a lot of 'color' in the mountains and
things are getting beautiful here.
Ther wild flowers are covering almost all of the pasture.

STEVE & MAREE'S VISIT

I tried to put my brother to work while he and
Maree visited us. But, it didn't work
and neither did he!
" Happy Trails to You "
Steve looks good
"Back In the Saddle Again"
Savannah lost her long time friend
Beau a couple of weeks ago.
But, she got Dandy for her 13th birthday.
She is his registered owner and of
course they have been riding together
for a long time. Lots of love there.
We love our hot-air ballon days here.

Sorry, but all this has worn Greta and I out and
we must do what we do best....... take a nap.

2008 COUSIN REUNION +

The host with the most.
Thanks Joel, all your work made this a wonderful,
memorable event.
Great people, wonderful food and a beautiful place.

To the far right is 'my new favorite' cousin and
the best story teller ever.

A great weekend of getting caught up, exchanging
ideas, information and just hanging out together.

Now this is a perfect picture of two beautiful women
in our lives.

Mark, doing what he does best, hanging out with
his beautiful daughter.

No doubt about it, Aunt Dorthy has the greatest son,
daughter-in-law and great granddaughter ever.
Someone say FOOD?
Yes, food, food and more food.
No one went away hungry.
We all got a special treat with Uncle Bob's visit.
And, best of all he had plenty of HUGS for us all.

Let me explain, yes I am your cousin.

A time for a little communing with nature at
Joel and Christina's Hidden Springs Ranch.

I love all the cousins, but one of my favorite moments
was spending time with our Dunitt.
He went here to spend his last days and has
been here 9 years. He is 33 and doing great.

Thsi place is so special and beautiful.

We had a special walk with nature and picnic day.

We enjoyed the breath taking scenery and
perfect weather.

Though he is also beautiful this guy was
an uninvited picnic guest. We left him
sun-bathing on his rock.
We took a fun excursion to a nearby fun place,
Bishop Castle.
It has been/is being built by one man.
We are not sure how structuraly sound
it is, but it is different and in its own way
beautiful....... well sort of!
The second and third generation cousins must
be thinking, 'what is up with these guys'.

Linda is asking Dianne, 'is there anything
this dumb in Kansas'?
And, Steve jumps in, 'nothing like this in Utah'.
Seriously, would you trust these 3 people
to go to the top of the castle with you?

Farewell, until the next cousin reunion. Stay safe.

Uncle Bob and Aunt Dorthy had us over to their
beautiful house in Colorado City. Dorthy played
her piano for us and uncle Bob gave us his
home made horseradish. Yummy!
Thank You
