As you know we lost our buddy Pepper April 2.
We want to introduce you to our new sweet Greta.
She is 2 1/2 and 1/2 the size of Pepper.
This is Cochise's best friend and our adopted family member Lisa.
Lisa was here for a year, but is on her way back home to Germany.

This is Linda, our other adopted family member. She has been
riding Dandy for a year and has decided to stay here another
year before heading back to Denmark.

Deni continues to travel world wide. He and Craig have taken
several trips together including Egypt and India.

Savannah invited her cousin Nathan (Terry) to Colorado.
His visit was one of the best weeks of our summer.

Nathan fooled me by being a 'natural' horseman.

He learned a lot about horsemanship.
From checking them out, feeding them, grooming,
and providing for their care.
As you can see, he did it all.
He finished up by learning to put a
bit in their mouths, saddle them and of course riding.

We it seemed only right that I got some 'free' farm labor out of him.

A special treat was a visit from Kate and John.
They brought, don't tell him he is a dog, Steve with them.
Miss Emily flew in, by herself, fromCalifornia
and continued with them on their trip.

We had a BIG BASH for Steve's birthday.

John took the kids on what was reported as a 'scary golf cart ride'.

Jaden and I took the Light Rail Train into Denver to watch
the Rockies play the Mets.

It was a special day and all the kid's teams got to walk around
the grounds of Coors Field.

Of course if you ask me and looks like Jaden might agree
the best part of the day was the food. [Rockies lost]

Hannah had a backyard 6th birthday party.

Besides her sister, she had many of her Colorado cousins there to
play games and eat cake. Oh yea, and to open presents.

All the grandkids moved up a year and
Hannah made it out of Kindergarten.
Congradulations to each of you.

Hannah had a great soccer season.
She is a hard charger with a great attitude.

It snowed for Nicolette's last soccer game.
She continues to suprise, amaze and thrill us all with her skills.

All I can say is WOW! Jaden completed his first baseball
season and is a natural athlete. He realy loves the
game and is equaly skilled with soccer.

The Hussongs and the Ohlsens went off on a road trip.
The destination was Branson, Missouri and all parts inbetween.

On the way we swung by the old Ohlsen farm.
No one has lived therefor years.
I spent all my summers there as a kid. Rode horses.

We stayed in the green time share house.
The complex is just a year old.

The grounds, pool and club house were beautiful.

We took a horse and buggy ride around Branson.

We spent a full day on Table Rock Lake.

Look mom, no hands.
