Well, I was wrong..... the last snow was not the last.
We woke up today the 27th of April with
another 6 inches.
Is it the 'last'? Who knows, but we love it!!!
This picture was taken a week ago in what was
suppose to be our last snow.
A little handy work by Taylor and Jaden.
This is our resident
Walk On Horse Ranch hawk.

Watching them soaring, signing out and looking for
prey is beautiful.

This our 'guest' house on the patio.
Over the years we have had a lot of guest.
At present is a new family and this is mother
sitting on her nest/eggs.
As we showed you we have placed some
boulders and rocks in our front yard.
This one almost didn't make it. ha
This one got delivered, but we aren't too
happy about its placement. ha

Linda is ready to get one more snowmobile ride in for 2009.

We made it a family day. Jenny and Savannah
are speed demons!

Savannah rides this thing like she has
been doing it all her life...... fast!!!

Hannah is our 'dare devil'. There is nothing
that is too scary or to fast for her.

For Taylor it was like the old dirt bike days
of yester-year.
The faster the better.
We had a great time.

JK, thanks for the helmets.

It is the last snow for awhile, but we are
already looking forward to the next one
and more snowmobiling.

Who can name this beautiful 12 year old?
Kate thinks she might be ready
to meet her baby. You think?

John and Gwen are ready to become new
GRANDPARENTS!
Well they all got their wish.
Welcome to the Hussong - Darden family
Lou West Darden
Born 12:52 p.m. April 10, 2009
7 lbs. 3 oz. 20 inches
Mom, Dad and baby Lou doing great.

The last of March and thus far in April we
have gotten the most snow we have
received all winter.
The grand kids, with Maggie,
take advantage of this special time.
Maggie and Jaden cool it by the new rocks.

We then had a week of sunny and warm weather,
but it started to cool down and the birds
were thinking of moving south.
These Black Birds are fun to watch, but really noisy.

This is Dale, who plows
our driveway every time it snows just
because he is a Great Neighbor.
Our newest snow started Friday the 17th
and we have over a foot and it is still coming down.

It is a wet snow and is packing down more
than usual. We expect another 6 inches
before it stops tonight.
Our bird house, built by Bob Duval, is providing a home
to a new family, but they are staying inside today.

We will cancel all BBQs until further notice.

The horses, not being the smartest animals
spend most of their time outside
even though their barn door is open.
This is Jenny and Scott's patio this morning on the 18th.

And, this is Jenny and Scott's street today.
Good news is it will be in the 60's tomorrow and
in the 70's all next week.
So family snowmobiling is on for tomorrow! yea
I got Doug's cool surfboard mounted on top
of our Woody Golf Cart just in time for the snow.
Whats up with that?
Obviously "Surf" is not "Up".

But, before the snow came we were ready to go.

We had a great visit with Peter, Pauline and Maggie.
They stayed with us a few days and went to
Taylor and Kim's cabin for a few days.
And, yes they got snow!
Besides looking great in that pink cowgirl hat
Maggie did a great job riding Cochise.

Speaking of doing a great job riding, Nic has
become a fine rider. She and Dandy had a great time.

Pete gave Maggie some driving lessons in the
golf cart.

And it wasn't long before she had it all figured out.
Good job Maggie!

Well we got home safe after a wonderful trip to
California and Nevada.
For all of you who took us in and those
who changed your schedules to see us,
THANK YOU
As we post these pictures Taylor and family
are sunning in Hawaii.
(snow here)
Looks like Nic and J-man are having
a great time with their folks.
At the same time Jenny and her family
are in Las Vegas at a
National Cheer Competition.
Her team took 2nd in both Cheer and in Stunting.
This was taken at their last practice here.
Ah, our Hannah always knows how to
make the best of everything and have
FUN!
Burrrrr, this was Thursday morning.
We had about 14 to 16 inches in 24 hours.
But, it is Colorado and today, Sunday, it is all gone.
We love the snow. Unfortunately we haven't had
much this year. Greta loves it too.
Nice thing about the snow is that your friends
come to visit via snowmobile.
Friday it looked like a snowmobile parking lot
in the front yard.
The O'Mara's are greeted by Greta.
We took off for a ride on the horse trails here
and had a blast.
The next day, Saturday, Linda and I decided
to tear up our property a little.
We may not be fast, but we really enjoy Linda's
new toy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Doug gave us a surfboard for our woody
and we couldn't wait to put it on top.
Micah's mother brought him to the ranch
for a short visit and to see the barn that he
built for us. It was a great visit.

Greta wants to say thanks to everyone for
their hospitality, but is sure glad to be home
and have running room. And her cats to chase.
Yes, that is her soda in the cup. ha
Visiting the Hussong's was great.
They were waiting on the front porch
of their new house when we arrived
We loved seeing them, but not as much as Greta.
The pictures speak for themselves,
but we will tell you their house is
AWESOME!!!!
We were inspired by all its majesty and we decided
we needed rocks in our yard.
Well, we didn't get rocks this big!
This is the only interior shot, but the rest of
the house is just as beautiful.
And for the men....... do I have to say more.
What a garage and workshop!!!!
We finally got to spend some quality time
with Bob and Dianne.
Like the dummy I am I didn't get pictures
of their beautiful home, but I did get some
of their second home in Temecula.
This a wonderful and beautiful spot.
It is definitely paradise.
Again, a guy's thing, what a great garage and workshop.
It houses a lot of fun stuff, but the best is
Bob's restored Chevy truck.
We love our view, but views don't get
much better than this.
A tour of the area was breath taking,
which included the wineries.
However, Filsinger Winery is special. Dr Filsinger was
the Pediatrician for not only the Duval kids, but for the
Alarcon family, including Rich.
Our trip was one highlight after another seeing everyone.
But, seeing our Linda and her family was really
special. Well Greta might argue that point since
she really didn't want to share us with the
Rock's four dogs. ha
Ron was busy working as usual, but we got a
great introduction to his photography business.
It is very impressive.
We didn't get a picture of beautiful Rachel, but
this is her cool dog, London.
As always, it was great to be with my name sake,
Terry Nathan, oh I'm sorry Nathan Terry.
What a totally cool nephew!!!!!!!!
And just to make sure he doesn't get too full of himself
Emmett keeps him grounded. I do believe he
always has a smile on his face.
It was great to visit with my folks and to find them
in such great health and positive attitude.
My mom had her great sense of humor and
kept us in line during our visit.
And, it was such a bonus to get to be with the rest
of the family including my beautiful nieces Carly and
Kelsey (no picture taken, bummer)
We had some great visiting and a lot of laughs.
And, it was very funny watching Amy watching TV.
Tess, Roger and Sophie, as always, were
fun, sweet and entertaining to be with.
Kathy was looking great and as usual the
hostess with the mostess. What a great sister.
Laura was there to keep her brother on the
straight and narrow...... an impossible task.
Laura has become my biggest helper
and supporter over the years.
What can I say..... three beauties.
'THE BIG EVENT'
This was what it was and is all about!
Addison Marie Kreucher
She was born healthy and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
And Mom, who is alway beautiful, did a
magnificant job bringing Addison into the world
so we all can love her forever.
And Kevin was, as we all would expect, the perfect
coach and Dad. Addison is a lucky young lady.
Now I am not sure which parent Addison looks
like, but I can defineately see some
grandma Penni in that cute face.
Someone is a little proud!
I'm not sure Addison looks like grandpa,
but give her a cigar, a Jack and put her on a
Harley and just maybe we would see
a resemblance. ha
There is a lot of love in Kevin's parents eyes
and their hearts for little miss Addison.
There was never a doubt, Jennifer was meant
to be a mother...... and Addison agrees.
Addison seems warm and comfy in her blanket
and protected by her horsey.
Have you ever seen such perfect and cute feet?
I was so bad, it was soooooo hard to give her up
while holding her.
I really think she knew me right away. ha
Duh, it wasn't a surprise that Addison took to
Linda so fast. Everyone does and should love her.
Grandma is just checking it all out to make
sure her girls would be o.k. when she leaves.
Grandmas are the best.
Here we present the Queen
also known as
Taylor's cousin.
TRUE LOVE
I just love these women!
Kevin now has his beautiful wife and daughter
to take care of but still has the other
"two kids"
at home to take care of and love.
THANK YOU GUYS FOR MAKING US PART OF YOUR FAMILY
